Find the perfect cushion to support your practice

Find Your Fit: A Cushion That Understands You

Every posture has its challenge. Every body has its own rhythm. Which Shine cushion speaks to yours?

The Classic — For Those Asking: "Why can't I sit still for more than ten minutes?"

Tension in the knees. Numb feet. A slouched back. Most beginners don’t lack willpower—they lack proper support.
Our award-winning Classic model corrects all three: gently raised at the back to align your spine, contoured at the sides to reduce knee strain, and sculpted at the base to cradle your ankles. Built for balance, comfort, and clarity.
Ideal for: beginners, men, and anyone needing foundational support.

The Portable — "What if my practice could travel with me?"

You’re not always at home—and neither is your stillness.
Smaller, lighter, and designed for movement, the Portable model slips easily into a dedicated carry pack, yet never compromises on support. With reinforced inner structure and ergonomic shaping, you can sit comfortably anywhere—from mountain cabins to studio floors.
Ideal for: travelers, outdoor lovers, and on-the-go meditators.

The Backrest — "How do I sit tall without straining my back?"

Discomfort in the lower spine is one of the biggest obstacles to deep meditation.
With a soft, curved backrest that mirrors the body’s lumbar arc, this design supports your posture without forcing it. Wrapped in textured Dutch velvet, it’s more than a cushion—it’s a soft-spoken companion for your spine.
Ideal for: seniors, those with back sensitivity, or anyone craving relaxed uprightness.

The Kneeling Seat — "Is it possible to kneel without pain?"

Kneeling meditation offers depth—but it often comes with discomfort.
Our “Z-form” Kneeling Seat redistributes weight across the hips, knees, and ankles with thoughtful geometry and sculpted curves. It supports your posture with precision, turning effort into ease.
Ideal for: advanced practitioners and those who favor the seiza/kneeling tradition.

The Cynicism — "Can a meditation cushion reflect who I am?"

Yes—if it’s more than just functional.
Inspired by the fierce honesty of Cynic philosophy and shaped like the grounded paw of a dog, this design speaks to those who walk their own path. Zoned layers of gel-infused foam provide temperature-regulating softness and multi-point support, while its sculptural form invites presence with every sit.
Ideal for: deep thinkers, design lovers, and anyone seeking meaningful stillness.

How to Sit: Let the Design Do the Work

Each Shine cushion is carefully shaped to guide your body into natural alignment—no force, no strain.

Begin by sitting with your pelvis near the back edge of the cushion, where the seat gently tilts upward. This subtle lift encourages your spine to rise naturally from the sit bones.

Let your knees settle onto the elevated side supports. You’ll feel a stable triangle form between your tailbone and knees—activating your core while releasing tension.

Place your feet into the central hollow, allowing them to relax while maintaining healthy ankle angles.

With just a few adjustments, the cushion becomes more than support—it becomes structure. You’re not holding the posture. The posture is holding you.

Care & Maintenance: Keep Your Cushion Alive

Shine meditation seats are made with premium materials and hand-finished surfaces. With gentle care, they will support your practice for years to come.

Do not attempt to disassemble the cushion; its structural integrity depends on its multi-curve form.
Gently pat the surface regularly to remove dust and maintain the fabric’s texture.
Keep in a well-ventilated space—avoid excessive dryness, humidity, or direct sunlight.
Avoid abrasive cleaning tools. Use soft cloths and pat gently to preserve the surface.
For stains, use professional leather or upholstery cleaning agents. In case of major spills or soiling, consult a specialist in sofa or fabric care.
Do not expose to heat sources or leave under strong sunlight to preserve color and texture.
Suitable cleaning sprays (dry-cleaning fabric foam) are available online—designed for sofas, curtains, or fine textiles.

Your cushion is more than furniture—it’s a tool for presence. A quiet companion. Treat it accordingly.
